Specifications Version 3.1

Operating Conditions

Ambient temperature +15°C to 35°C.

Relative humidity without condensation 20 to 80%.

Ambient air pressure 700 hPa to 1060 hPa.

Electromagnetic Compatibility

The system complies with the IEC 60601-1-2 standard.

Power Supply

Mains voltage: 240 100 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz

Battery backup time: 60 min with a full charge.

Patient System

All parts of the circuit system and patient system are free of natural latex.

Patient hose ports with 22/15 mm ISO cone.

APL Valve

Spontaneous breathing (SP) and minimum pressure settings to 90 cm H2O (closed position) with a clear torque change at approx. 35 cm H2O.

CO2 Absorber

Material specification of a recommended absorbent:

SofnoKalk: 3% w/w sodium hydroxide, >75% w/w calcium hydroxide. White or coloured solids, pH 12 to 14, relative density 2.0 g/cm3.

Sodasorb: <2% w/w sodium hydroxide, >80% w/w calcium hydroxide. White and/or pink solids, pH 12 to 14.

Absorption volume approx. 800 ml.

Vaporizer Port

Selectatec-compatible vaporizer port for two interlock-compatible vaporizers.

Respirator Settings

Controlled ventilation modes: volume-controlled and pressure-regulated.

Inspiratory flow: max. 80 L/min

Volume-controlled Mode

Respiratory volume (VT): 40 to 1600 ml

Ventilation rate 4 40 breaths/min (adults), 14 60 breaths/min (children)

I:E ratio: 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 1:1.5, 1:1, 2:1

PEEP, (OFF, 4-16 cm H2O)

Inspiration pause (TIP:TI), (OFF, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%)

Sigh (with 1.5 x breath vol.), (OFF 1 and 2 /100 breaths)

Pressure limit: 10 to 80 cm H2O

Pressure-regulated Mode

Inspiratory flow, INSP FLOW 1 to 80 L/min (adults), 0.5 to 40 L/min (children)

Ventilation rate 4 40 breaths/min (adults), 14 60 breaths/min (children)

I:E ratio: 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 1:1,5, 1:1, 2:1

PEEP, OFF, 4-16 cm H2O

Ventilation pressure, Pmax 10 60 cm H2O

Drive Gas

Air and oxygen are used as drive gas for the compression of the bag-in-bottle system required for achieving the set respiratory parameters.

Monitoring

Airway pressure (digital): 0 to 99 cm H2O, mean pressure, PEEP pressure.

Respiratory volume: expiratory and inspiratory measurement

Minute ventilation volume

Supply pressure 0 to 10 kPa x 100

Battery power

Alert

Upper pressure alert limit, low-pressure alert (breakage/high permanent pressure)

Alert suppression: one minute or alert reset

Low O 2 level: activation pressure: 2.0 kPA x100. Acoustic alert.

N2O shutoff valve: Activation pressure: 1.8 kPA

Electronic O2 ratio regulator: Holds a minimum O2 concentration of 25 ± 4%.

Gas supply

Hospital domestic gas: Air, O2 and N2O.

Supply pressure: 2.8 to 6.0 kPa x 100 (bar).

Connection standard: NIST
